The Ray Dolby Centre hosted the 2025 gathering for the European Conference on Molecular Electronics.
Members - and former members - of Physics' Optoelectronics Group featured heavily, especially on the final day when Prof Sir Richard Friend's contribution to the field were celebrated. Recent research was reported from groups around the world, and Richard himself described his motivation for starting his research on the electronic and magnetic properties of sulphides and other low-dimensional systems.
