The Optoelectronics Group was formed in 1993 when four members of
the Physics and Chemistry of Solids Group decided to operate as a separate
entity, with the common thread of opto-electronic properties of materials as the
link between their activities. There is a strong
element of collaboration within the group, but the different staff members
follow their own interests within the broad areas summarised above.
The head of the group is currently Prof. Henning Sirringhaus.
For collaborations see the links page. You can find
some old project pages here.
